Zolani Tshobo Jobo aka Zeezee was born in SA, EC in Grahamstown in Zolani Location on 26 November 1990 but spent most of his life in PE. Zeezee's passion for writing music and performing before crowds developed at an early age in Port Elizabeth, DOXA, where he’d always fight to be on every single play and show. He started taking his music career serious in 2007, attending DOXA indoor sessions, sharing stages with the likes of Third Force, MaxWongDee, Emancipation, to name a few. Zeezee is an aspiring recording artist and record producer. He is an independent artist currently signed with Multimedia Makenik.
Zeezee is a hip hop artist who is influenced by the likes of CASSPER NYOVEST, ABDUS, IFANI, PROKID, KO and the likes of Eminem, Lil Wayne and Drake internationally, in 2015 he was a contestant during TruFM TruTalent search and made it through to the final stages of the Eastern Province regional entries. He was part of TruFM TruTalent Search Awards 2015 where he shared a stage with big industry names such as Zahara, Nathi, Vusi Nova, DBN NYTS and Professor. Also had a call up and opened Heavy K’s 2015 Drumboss Xperience.
He is commonly known for his smashing debut singles titled ‘Ndenz’ umsindo’, ‘Ndicel’ Uqine Mntase’ and ‘Hip Hop Hallelujah’. Zeezee is an open crown most performer, as his thoughts are filled with large numbers of crowd when he writes his music. He specialises with an entertaining as well as educating kind of style of Hip-hop and his ecstatic dance moves when performing. His aim is to see himself uplifting the flag of Eastern Cape should the day arrives. Zeezee music is playing across Eastern Cape community radio station, namely: Radio Grahamstown, Rhodes Music Radio, Kumkani FM, Mdantsane FM, Sunshine FM and he sometimes engages in interviews with Radio Dj's such as Trusenz on TruFM, Azlan & Shepard on Radio Grahamstown etc.
He boosted his confidence when he was in a group named the ‘Rhanga Fam’, that’s when he got the attention and recognition in the music scenes of Grahamstown. In 2014 he collaborated with Azlan Makalima a member of the Base Bin Studios own third Force. During the National Arts Festival shows. On the 30th of April 2016 he dropped his EP titled "It's not just a dream" which had 15 Tracks and was also performing during the Grahamstown National Arts Festival in a crew named SmangaGHT. At the moment he is currently pushing his EP and submitting his music to all relevant radio stations. 2016 Nominee for two catagories, Best Hiphop & Best NewComer in Eastern Cape Music Awards.
